A range of some of the glitziest jewelry around will be on display at the Buyers Market of American craft this week.

Present will be more than 100 of the world's best jewelry designers, who will be working high karat gold and platinum into some of the most creative and beautiful pieces around.

They will also be working with a plethora of diamonds and high-quality gemstones, for those who appreciate some rocks in their jewelry.

Show director Christine Kloostra, told jckonline: "Artist stories are possibly the single-most powerful selling tool at a retailer's disposal when selling American and Canadian handmade products.

"Artist stories provide consumers with a direct personal connection to the work they are buying. They also help retailers differentiate themselves from big-box competitors."

Meanwhile, Tiffany has accused the internet auction giant eBay of not doing enough to combat the sale of counterfeit jewelry.
