A new exhibition at the Antwerp Diamond Museum will show precious items worn by the rich and famous, including some pieces which are rarely seen on public display.
The Diamond Divas display, which runs from April 11th to June 8th, will feature jewellery worn by some of Hollywood's greatest leading ladies, royalty and members of high society.
At the centre of the collection will be the prestigious Moon of Baroda necklace, which was worn by Marilyn Monroe in Gentleman Prefer Blondes.
The necklace, which features a 42.04 carat canary pear-shaped diamond, was last seen on display in 1944.
Visitors will also be able to feast their eyes on the platinum and diamond Devant de corsage modelled by Catherine Deneuve- one of the most beautiful French actresses to grace the big screen.
Meanwhile, Diamdel, a sales unit of De Beers, has completed its first online auction for rough diamonds.
Of the 16 available lots, 14 were snapped up by several of the world's major diamond centres, reports Jeweller's Circular Keystone.
