Keen writers are being offered an opportunity for a little luxury with the introduction of Montblanc's new StarWalker Cool Blue pen range.
The innovative writing instruments feature striking platinum-plated fittings, handmade nibs and a shimmering blue lacquer body, with the unmistakable Montblanc star floating in the cap top.
Joe Nahhas, a regional brand director for Montblanc, said: "We are delighted to introduce the new StarWalker in a translucent shimmering blue aptly named Cool Blue."
He added that the translucent appearance of the StarWalker gives the pen a "futuristic" air and is the trendsetting silhouette characteristic of the range.
The SkyWalker range comprises a fountain pen, a ballpoint pen and a fineliner.
Montblanc is a globally recognised luxury goods house, producing writing instruments, timepiece and jewellery.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Montblanc launched the Prince Rainier III Limited Edition 81 in Monaco.
Valued at £154,000 each, the 81 pens are set with rubies and diamond.
