Up and coming Hollywood starlet Alexis Dziena made an impression on the red carpet at the premiere of her latest movie by wearing a pair of diamond and platinum drop earrings.

The actress followed in the footsteps of A-listers such as Debra Messing and Ali Larter by opting for designs by celebrated jeweller Neil Lane at the screening of Fools Gold.

Alexis, who has previously appeared alongside child star Macaulay Culkin in Sex and Breakfast, co-stars with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey in the tale of modern day treasure hunters.

She has several movies in the pipeline including Tenderness with Russell Crow and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist opposite Michael Cera.

Alexis was not the only star wearing platinum baubles at the Graumans's Chinese Theatre event.

Matthew McConaughey's girlfriend Camilla Alves also opted for Neil Lane original designs and modelled a pair of platinum chandelier earrings and three diamond and platinum rings.
