The UK's jewellery industry is set to receive a boost in the form of the nation's first jewelry week.
Coutts London Jewellery Week, which will run from June 11th to June 15th, will include celebrity catwalk shows, gemstone workshops and an exhibition of new designers in the historic Tower of London.
Displays will include Brilliance - featuring the work of 15 established designers and the unveiling of Shaun Leane's latest bespoke diamond project, which he has been working on for three years.
Jeweller to the stars, Stephen Webster, who provides baubles for Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, told the Financial Times that the event will help showcase the "amazing amount of talent" in the UK.
Notable patrons who have lent their support to the celebration include Theo Fennell, Sir Terence Conran and Philip Treacey.
According to a report in the Financial Times, the UK's jewelry industry is growing by 28 per cent annually.
