In honour of the upcoming Academy Awards, the Diamond Information Center is presenting a display of red carpet outfits and jewellery.

'A Diamond is Forever' will take place at Chateau Marmont and display five red-carpet looks over the course of a week.

Each will be paired with baubles from luxury jewellers including Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels and Neil Lane - whose platinum pieces have adorned a number of Hollywood's leading ladies.

Other jewellery pieces fit for the big screen will be displayed during the week-long event, including one-of-a-kind gems and vintage trinkets.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Sally Morrison of The Diamond Information Center, said: "There is a truly symbiotic relationship between diamonds and Hollywood fashion.

"Nothing complements the glamour of the red carpet like the brilliance of timeless diamond jewellery."

Meanwhile, in related news, the world's third largest jewellery fair is set to attract 2,300 exhibitors to Hong Kong.

The event will take place between March 4th and March 8th.
