A platinum heirloom is set to take centre stage at an upcoming auction.

The iGavel.com Litchfield Jewellery Auction will feature a mid-20th century platinum and diamond bracelet set with 287 diamonds, reports news-antique.com.

The exquisite piece is valued at between £4,000 and £6,000.

Litchfield County Auctions is the premiere estate auction house in Connecticut, USA.  It's jewellery sale is running until April 16th.

This follows news that both Sotheby's and Christies are auctioning hugely valuable diamonds in the upcoming months.
