Anew luxurious bottle has been created for the world's most expensive cognac.

The £991,150 hand-crafted container is fashioned from four kilograms of pure platinum and 24-carat gold and features some 6,500 brilliant-cut diamonds, reports Jewelry.com

Housed inside the opulent bottle, which was created by jeweller Jose Davros, is 100cl of 100-year-old Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne.

The bottle has been awarded the accolade of 'World's Most Expensive Bottle' by the Guinness Book of World Records, according to the website Most-expensive-cognac.com.
