Hollywood star Cameron Diaz dazzled in platinum pieces on the red carpet in Los Angeles this weekend.

The actress modelled diamond and platinum hoop earrings from celebrity favourite Neil Lane at the premiere of her latest movie What Happens in Vegas, which co-stars Ashton Kutcher.

She completed her look with an oversized diamond and platinum ball-shaped ring.

Her appearance at the showing of her new project marked Cameron's return to work after the recent death of her father Emilio Diaz.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, the actress, who in the past has been romantically linked to actors Matt Dillon and Jared Leto and singer Justin Timberlake, said that she has given up hoping to find her perfect Prince Charming.

"You're always told he has to look like this and this is how he exists in all the storybooks - but it doesn't always come in those packages," she added.
