An Ulster jeweller has spoken out about how he provided a custom-made platinum wedding ring for Peter Phillips' recent nuptials.
Jim Conlan of Midas Jewellers produced the platinum band set with diamond after receiving a last-minute order from the Peter, who is the Queen's grandchild and 11th in line to the throne.
Speaking to the Ulster News Letter, Mr Conlan, who discussed the design with Peter and his bride Autumn Kelly, said: "The pair of them were really down-to-earth, with no pretensions or airs and graces.
"It was an honour to be invited into the young couple's home and entrusted with such an important role in their wedding plans."
Once Peter and Autumn had seen the finished product they commissioned Mr Conlan to design some pearl bracelets for the bridesmaids' gift bags, with the designs based on the crown jewels.
The couple were wed last Saturday at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle and guests included the Queen, Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy and Prince Williams' partner Kate Middleton.
