More than 35,000 jewelry industry professionals will be gathering at the Jewelers of America New York summer show this June.

The event will feature displays from more than 1,500 fine jewelry suppliers, who will be displaying their platinum, gold and diamond wares.

According to fibre2fashion.com, highlights of the event will include the Designer Pavilion, Gift Gallery and New Product Gallery, where all the latest jewelry trends will be showcased.

For retailers, the Couture pavilion provides the perfect location for conducting business with leading designers and seeing the latest couture trends, adds the website.

The show aims to bring together people involved with the jewelry industry from all over the globe and representatives from Hong Kong, Israel, Belgium, Italy, India, Korea, Thailand and Singapore will all be present.

It was recently revealed that a number of young up and coming designers have been selected to display their products at the Jewelers Circular Keystone Las Vegas 2008 trade show.

The eight jewelry makers will have the opportunity to show their pieces in the Design Centre.
