Danish dancing star Camilla Dallerup has become engaged to soap star Kevin Sacre and she now sports a glamorous platinum ring.

Speaking out to Hello! magazine, the couple admitted that they tied the knot on a beach in Capri, Italy, where they were sharing a romantic holiday together.

The former star of Channel 4's Hollyoaks, Sacre went down on one knee and presented the Tiffany platinum ring to his now-fiancee, although the delivery of the question was apparently not as perfect as he wanted it to be.

He told the news provider: "I tried to say something profound about there being beautiful rocks and here's another - luckily she didn't hear that."

Dallerup joked: "Yes I did! It was quite possibly one of the worst proposals - but for us it was perfect."
