Platinum Principles is designed to support retail sales associates in presenting this higher value (and therefore higher margin) metal enabling them to deliver greater profits to their businesses. Two years in development, the course provides tools, which can be immediately deployed, to overcome three core sales challenges: - Platinum Knowledge: Why is platinum more expensive? How can this high price be justified? We take delegates through platinum's amazing origin, heritage and go in-depth into the fascinating properties that make it the ideal precious jewellery metal.
- Platinum Belief: A sales associate's belief in a product will come across to customers, if not in speech then through non-verbal clues. Particularly in a challenging high street climate and in a background of higher metal prices confidence is key. The course strengthens delegate's belief in platinum as the best they can offer and their own abilities in presenting it.
- Platinum Relationship: The engagement, wedding or eternity band sale offers associates a prime opportunity to get closer to customers and build a lasting relationship that can create a customer for life. The course refocuses on this opportunity and provides attendees with further guidance on how to best profit from it.
Platinum Principles is delivered by PGI's partner agency Beyond the Box Training. The content is tailored to suit the level of the delegates attending and delivered in an interactive and stimulating manner within a relaxed environment. The course has been through research and pilots to ensure it addresses the needs of busy retailers. Part of its appeal is that in addition to the training and the course materials it also offers retailers a networking opportunity beyond the store, a great chance to share and learn.
Training takes a half day running from 10:30am to 3:30pm including lunch. The dates and locations planned for 2011 are as follows.
